Lonely < !signature-->It is lonely with you not here I long for you to hold me near You have gone away but I know you will return one day And hold me in your arms with all your might And love me all through the coming nights Never have I been so blue I am alone and without you. Loneliness In my room I sit and cry Just to think of times gone by I have loved and lost I must pay the cost Of a broken heart And then again I start To cry in my loneliness and despair To think that no one else cares [This message has been edited by catwomen (edited 02-06-2000).] |

Cat- I'm sorry that I lost this one in the shuffle. I have different views of lonely and alone. I enjoy my aloneness ... but when I'm lonely ... I find that I am the one who needs to reach out to others to fill me up and perhaps hold a hand that needs mine. Don't know if it helps ... but here's my hand. Thanks Marge. I also enjoy alone time but long distant relationship do take there toll and some together time right now would be very nice. |

Loneliness is very painful. I guess the best thing to do is to keep busy with something. Both of these poems are very nice!  Denise |

Catwoman these are some lovely thoughts straight from your heart. I need time to be alone but I do not need to be alone. I know we all yearn for a special companion, or a friend, or a lover. Until than loneliness. James |
