It's not how I thought it would be, I don't know if it's you or me, Things have changed and now I'm scared, I really thought I was prepared. It seems I may have lost my friend, On whom, I'm sure, I came to depend, I thought so long on making the decision right, Now I'm uncertain it was worth all the fight. We seem to have lost all the thought and the care, I took for granted would always be there, Now it seems awkward and words go unspoken, I thought we had something that couldn't be broken. What are you feeling? What are you thinking? Is our friendship still true or is it sinking? Do you care what I think? Do you care what I feel? There once was a time when I knew this was real. Is it just me? Am I reading it right? Tell me why now my phone stays so quiet? Do you still want me? Do you still need me? You know where I am, come round and please me. |

I went through this a couple of years ago with my best friend. Sometimes relationships have to change..evolve into something else. Just remain true to the friendship and it will be ok.  |
