No-Name Desire Sit atop the world and sigh, a slight laugh or smile will suffice Endless notions of love wait, but so do misery, hate & mind-rape Stand before a crowded space with scream Do not scream too loudly in the company of enemies There are not enough acres to feel the void This universe is filled with motionless noise Yesterday sits and waits to be fixed Today gets tired and decides to quit Tomorrow fate will show its wit Answers and questions that is what there is Except for the desire that lies within A desire with no name that haunts the soul With a deep burning feeling that goes untold Reflections jump from mirror to mirror Pity a mirror can not reflect better the complex spirit That goes unseen forever! We are nothing if not complex, that's for sure! Thought provoking piece, Chris. Well done! Denise |

A very powerful poem, through a lense of magnified anger. Here's hoping you feel better. Mke |
