Sitting here and thinking how My life much richer is now For all the ones I've chanced upon And the tapestry that was spun There was a time when noone came No friends to play in childhood game Noone to shelter from the rain Nor the adolescent pain Yet in my inner heart I knew Secrets rare and secrets true Were wishes horses, all would ride Other dreamers by my side Then one day I dropped my guard I never did something so hard In my heart I let others in And found I had a friend By ones and twos they gathered near Soothing all my darkest fears A tapestry we began to weave And I once more believe For youth need never fade away As long as I can dream and play On wistful horses I will ride With other dreamers at my side Alicat, the dreaming Persnikitty As I sit here dimly thinking Watching modem lights a-blinking Churning out poetic hash. Lord, in all Your piety, Help me keep my sanity: Please don't let the modem crash! --Alicat |

This is lovely, Alicat! As long as we can dream we can remain young at heart! Denise |

Ali this was great! Once we open up that heart and dream our dream, there's no telling what can happen! <*\\\>< Where there is faith, there is love. Where there is love, there is peace. Where there is peace, there is GOD. Where there is GOD, there is no need. Hallmark |

Awesome poem Mr. Kitty I think friends are a cherished part of this life! I love the imagery of "Wistful Horses". Being a horse lover...made that all the more meaningful to me. Thanks for a beautiful ride. Hope to "SEE" and I do mean "SEE" you soon!!!
