A pair of bright eyes looking towards me,
As eyes met 'cross the room, I smiled at him.
I felt his warmth and knew what we would be,
When he offered to share with me ice-cream.

And since the time when fate has brought us close,
I've learnt to love and treasure what I own.
In times when we had fought, we turned to foes,
But we always patch up over a cone.

We know we would be part of each other,
I tell you things I've never told my kin.
Not just the past but now and forever,
In sickness and in health, through thick and thin.

Through hard and simple times, you lend a hand,
You are someone I always call a friend.

Lucky spouse you have.  Your poem captures the essence of your love and marriage.  Keep up the good work.

Yep, I agree! A friend makes the best spouse!
Well spoken, Koon!
