As I sit here Listening to you talk About what you have read What it means to you What about me Is what I feel important Or are you always right Your word is law You know it is not so You have said as much But why do you not listen What is wrong with me Absolutly nothing I am human and human I am Nothing more, nothing less Just like you But why do you not listen What make what you say true And makes what I say false When is it my turn My first poem on the comeback trail from writer's block. It is comming back. My poetry that is. "Life's greatest mystery isn't the meaning of life. To love and be loved is the meaning of life. Now how to attain those is the greatest mystery of all." |

Scorched Dragon- This sounds like someone who is taking control. I like the power and the flow. 'I am human and human I am' - Yes, indeed. 'When is it my turn' - Could it be now? Great 'comeback trail' ride. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

A rather large statement in a few words. Welcome back to writing. Keep it up. Powerful! We could all learn to listen more and remember one persons beliefs and feelings are theirs and not to be dismissed. You said it all here. |

See, I told you so. "If you did it before, you can do it again." It's in there, you just have to let it out. Beatiful poem! If you could come up with one this good, believe me, you've got plenty more just waiting to get out. I'm looking forward to many more. ~Gene |

Unfortunately in life there are many people who can not truely listen to what we say. We need to find those who can and treasure them. Yes I do believe you are making quite a come back here. This is great! |

Yeah...this poem makes a lot of sense. Actually, more than I'd care to admit! This really made me think, S.D. Thanks. -L.S. P.S. Did you read "The Explanation"? I kinda wrote that for you, thought you'd like to know! |

First I want to say that I thank you all for your responses. I really didn't expect this many. Second is that this place is truely family(or atleast what one should be) to me, thanx. Next is that this poem was written out of the experiences I have had at the various churches I have attended. Last is to Little Spyro, I will be reading that piece next. Thanx. Love you all. "Life's greatest mystery isn't the meaning of life. To love and be loved is the meaning of life. Now how to attain those is the greatest mystery of all." |
