           A love poem

She spun a web of golden balm,
Encircling me with naked charm.
And took my hand through fields of green,
My lonely heart had never seen.

Opened visions of intrusion,
Far beyond the cast illusion.
Held high a magic verse of light,
That lit the darkest of my night.

Bathed my soul in shards of rhyme,
Dissolved the very truth of time.
Opened a road to infinity,
That went beyond intimacy.

And I fell into the abyss,
On the echoes of my bliss.
And gave my earthly time away,
For here, I would forever stay.

I never knew what words could stir
Until I met the likes of her.

Seymour-

This is indeed 'A Love Poem'
You melt my heart with your phrases.
WOW !  Just WOW !

Your words of love fall
like petals from the rose.
Embracing my heart
encircling me.

You weave magic.

She must be very eloquent for her words to have stirred the likes of you.
Very beautiful, as always

A true "Seymore" have we here
Speaking of love with joy and cheer
Words falling from is pen on to the paper
No wonder he is after her
Such Love displayed line by line
Well done there Seymore, very fine
Loved the read

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Words can enslave even the most haunted heart.

Beautiful writing, Sy.

Bravo! I couldn't have said it better myself. I only wish that I could write love poems again. Who knows, maybe one day I will. Well done, thank you for sharing this.
