All things in Nature speak Of balance and harmony Things all who strive to seek Say how they want it to be Nothing is as true As the moon in the nighttime sky Nothing quite as pure As the look in your eyes I can’t escape what makes me so tragic I alone, know what that thing is Some sort of elemental magic, To pretend this is where I always live Never have I felt every nerve on fire Never have I ever felt so alive Cool wind blowing through my hair Moonlight shining upon my face How much do I want to stay there In that dark and lonely place Alone, you and I forever are Never let the feelings restrain Down comes the bright and eternal stars Washing us clean with cool, sweet rain All things in Nature conspire To not release me, just yet; Knowing full well how inspired, I am at being so wet Never have I felt every nerve on fire Never have I ever felt so alive |

A poem that speaks with such vivacity is surely worth another lap.... I like this one, JML... |

Thanks Nan, I enjoy being taken out on another lap. *S* And Claire, thanks, it is easy to be inspired when you feel alive, and when do you feel more alive then when Nature conspires? On a day like I wrote this, if you didn't feel alive, then you have to be dead inside. |
