I hope one day, you'll understand. I had to let you go. You won't return from school today the memories all I know. You grew each day, alot sometimes, you always were so tall. The strength you have, I hope you learn to reach instead of fall. I know you'll ask, what came of me, I hope we stay intact. You are a guide to me sometimes, of truth, and honest acts. Your stubborness is hard to guide, you put me through some tests. But you show ten times the love, your honors very set. I'll always love you in my heart, I hope you'll always know, To reach your arms around yourself each time it doesn't show. |

Sad indeed but a nice poem. Thank you for sharing The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |

Sea, I have a son (step-son), and I'm recently divorced. They just moved to the opposite side of the country. I've raised him since he was basically born, now he's 9. It's extremely hard to let him go. It was my choice to get divorced, and I stayed for many years ONLY because of him. I finally couldn't do it any longer. Helmut, Thank you. |

Tulip, thank you for sharing that with me. I'm so very sorry. I can't imagine how hard that must be. I hope you still get to stay in contact with him. I have two step-daughters and my son, and I couldn't imagine them not being in my life. Again, thank you for sharing with me. -SEA |

Sea, Thank you...I think the hardest thing right now is knowing my son can't understand. I hope he does one day, and I am staying in touch with him...but it is EXTREMELY difficult. |
