*Before reading this, read Skyfyre's poem, (trust me it's worth it). Dear Shakespeare, sir, I thought you always wise, And yet tonight, your talent reached its peak. Just as the sun has no more room to rise, I, too, am lacking any breath to speak. And find my mind repeating just one verse, And I shall do so ▒til the sun grows cold For in your magic words I▓m left submersed And by your wicked tongue, I stand appalled One, single verse still wanders in my head And from its presence, I could never run. As if it is the only verse I▓ve ever read! "My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun ..." And if this verse can thus inspire Kess, Let me appraise it high above the rest! OMIGAWSH! Master, you are such an ANGEL! I have never been so flattered ... at last I can die happy, knowing that I have inspired someone to write such a lovely sonnet as this ... Thank you so much for taking the time to read my poetry -- your support and kindness is always appreciated. But this ... well, this is more than I deserve. I am (nearly) speechless! --(a humbled) Kess Full fathom five thy father lies, Of his bones are coral made, Those are pearls that were his eyes; Nothing of him that doth fade But doth suffer a sea-change Into something rich and strange... --William Shakespeare, from The Tempest |
