I was sure it'd be your loss
I thought you'd be the one to cry
But now I see its me thats lost
Since someone new has caught your eye

I can see you have now moved on
Yet my heart is still singing your song
Its words are written inside my head
Like all the sweet words you'd ever said.

I always had so much to give
Yet never took anything from you
You were my true reason to live
But now I must find a reason thats new

Oh the pain of heartbreak. We've all been there.

smore: the verse is a little awkward, but heck, we all do that... i like this quite a bit and i hope to see more of you on the forum soon    i can sympathize with your loss and i hope that you will learn and grow from it and not let it eat at you...

sincerely,
jerome the boy with no life

A savage place! as holy and enchanted
As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover!
~Coleridge
