In the moonlight, shadows dancing,
All up and down my wall,
Fairytale figures prancing,
Rabbits and shadowed sea gulls.

There's a moose with antlers well defined,
A pig and mischievious duck,
There's even a seven "pointer"
A white tailed big horned buck.

All there dancing on my walls,
Shadows from a bright moon glow,
And I don't even use my hands,
It's all done with my Toes!

Dear Toe,
with such digital agility
your shadows
cannot obscure your virility

...and your poetry's alright too.

Dear LadyClaire

Hunh??? And just what have you been doing while I was lollygagging on my way to work to have people noticing your virility?? LOL.

Love the poem, sweets... I bet your toes can liven up the dullest home movies! LOL

Tis a hard life we all have to endure, I wish I could offer the wisdom of Balladeer, the wit of LongJohn, the "heart" of Ms. Santos, the expertise of most of the rest of you, but all I have is the will power to bring smiles, sometimes it works..sometimes it doesn't? But I thank you all.....

Darling: This reminds me of the carousels that dance upon thousands of walls and babies playing with their toes as their eyes follow the shadows on the walls

In the moonlight, shadows dancing
is that your toe upon my wall?
Sweethearts cuddling, softly sighing
Hey that moose is going to fall!

When you've stopped this silly foot game,
put your jammies on tonight
leave the animals to the children
cause we're 'dancing' in the moonlight!

Toe-
You are soooooooooo wonderfully comedic.
You add a bright imagination to this site. Know what?
I think you have talent galore !
Just the very 'picture' of that
'TOE' making shadows is imagery at
its cutest.
Thanks for the 'picker-upper'.
