In the moonlight
shadows dancing
Willows weep amid morning mist
Lovers sighing
sounds entrancing
sharing a farewell kiss

In the daylight
shadows resting
While life goes on apace
always seeking
ways of testing
faithfulness in each face

In the noontime
shadows sleeping
Waiting for eventide when
nightly secrets
she’ll be keeping
lovers lie together again

In the moonlight
shadows dancing
Secret trysts again begin
whispers taking
lovers chancing
to find a love again

I find this a bit romantic
Great job with the wording.
Now I have a question.
Are we allowed to flirt in here?
All theses writing`s of love really is very attractive, put`s even us Bad Boy`s in the romantic mood

I love that little twist of the shadows being asleep by day and dancing by night!  (That's my favorite part anyway!)  Nice one!

Poet deVine-

Flirting with the moonlight
becomes you.
I like the images this conjured up.
That Hoot gal sure knows how to
get us all going, eh?

Excellent verse (and not a half-bad way to spend a moonlit evening, either).

Enjoyed, enjoyed, enjoyed!

Full fathom five thy father lies,
Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

Having read all the responses to Hoot's challenge...   I have developed a renewed appreciation for moonlight's dancing shadows
and the exceptional talents of the women of Passions...
well done Ms. deVine...  beautiful work.
