Silver Chain I didn't know she meant that much Precious sterling, delicate dangling Did I underestimate her flirtatious ways? Or maybe I just thought too highly of myself So I'll trudge that line between confession and confusion With the memories of your Ghosts haunting me Taunting me Their presence is alluring to you And I feel like nothing to you Yet you still tell me I'm special And I try not to hover I fall back into the crowd You never seemed to notice But I always feel so drawn to you And I honestly didn't know you two were so close Precious sterling, delicate dangling Somewhere did you forget about me? Unworthy of sentimentality And her silver chain is choking - Me out Her silver chain is killing me - Inside. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ pattie |

Thanks Denise. I was really bitter when I wrote it. It was theraputic though, 'cuz now I'm not so. Thanx again for reading. pattie |

Pattie, this is great, I myself always find it theraputic to write when I am bitter or in any down mood as well. ~*~ ^i^ ~*~ Love is such a lonely art, and death is but a taste. Minds are merely instruments that often go to waste! ~*~ ^i^ ~*~ |
