You have never lied to me You've held me close to you. I've told you everything to know You've only said what's true. I look at you, you melt with me You're strength shines through your eyes. You made me see my happiness Was worth the utmost prize. I found the courage to leave my life of sadness, guilt, and pain. I realized then, to have my dream, I must jump from the train. I followed heart, and knew within I had to for myself. I knew I had to make a choice Without you on the shelf. And so I did, jump off the edge, you gave me strength, you see. I'd hoped to find your opened arms Instead, I have found me. |
