Your voice
can shatter hearts
and it soothed against mine
mending the breaks
and restoring my faith in you
every word so thought out
but filled with your bold heart
and completely spur-of the moment
you feed my heart
the vicious monster that it is
and make me want to sing
you reach for me
and your voice leads the way of your hand
smoothing against my cheek
before your skin comes near
you seduce me
through a mere breath
and your touch
is only an added bonus
for I am yours
before you can place your brand upon me
and I cannot leave
though my body is free
not chained down
my mind is captivated
by the taste of your voice.

Welcome, stargazer! Nice writing. I smiled even more imagining it as "Type" in place of the "Voice" in your poem. Interesting. The last line would read, "...by the taste of your type". Thanks for the smiles.
