Lightening strikes
my heart beats faster
then comes rain
loud like laughter

On my face
I feel a slap
but it was just
a thunder clap

A deadly voice
calls my name
it's only the wind
but still the same

When the storm is through
then I'll be free
from the weather of feelings
so deep in me.

Aye, sometimes weathering the storm of our own emotions is much more trying than any tempest.  Excellent work here!

This is fantastic, SEA! Very well done. Those storms can be scarey!

Sea...we all have to weather our own storms, but thankfully, like the young ash tree, we bend and do not break
