Brush and Canvas The eyes drop soft canvas the brush moves to explore each valley and rolling hill light and dark stopped frozen defined by each shadow and touch two play as one What is it? Why do you look Away? What tears should you hide from my face? What secrets lie within that brush and paint reveal But I cannot see? The brush finds paint and dips into Blue away from the canvas It paints my love upon you © June 1999 Tyre Olson and Corinne Bailey |
