I know I need to let go of you.
I'm trying to resist
temtations from the bottom of my heart
that has been hit.

You made me feel alive again,
what was it that we had?
You held me then, and cried with me,
I melted in your hands.

I trusted you, not only when,
my life was very plain,
I gave you parts I hadn't seen
in all my years of pain.

I want to go running to
the person that I found.
But, I know, I'll only see
a person who is bound.

What do you see? I thought I knew.
I didn't really look.
I opened up my heart to you
You squished it in your book.

Heartfelt.  Drew me in and let me know how it was for you.  Very good.

Ouch that sounds painful....it makes me hurt to know I did something such as this to someone special, not meaning to!!! Well written....it came across quite well!!

I'm trying to take it as a learning experience.  I opened up way too quickly, because I really believed we had something special.  Next time, I'll take things a little slower.
