Somewhere in time If I've yet to find The love of Life I've lost At least then tell me the cost Of friends I once had Days lonely and sad Gloom and darkness unfold In a soul grown weary and cold Time when a single candle burned For that which I secretly yearned Scared, not knowing where to turn or go Frighten, as it would only pass slow As I learn to accept the fate I've been given Love, laughter from my heart have been driven May there be a light that I can follow home For if not, I shall wander the night on my own Lost forever...Somewhere in Time |

Sometimes life, love, can surely have us feeling lost. You've expressed that well! Denise And slight is the sting of his trouble Whose winnings are less than his worth; For he who is honest is noble, Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~ |

WolfsMate- The title GRABBED me ... the movie by that name is a favorite of mine. Hauntingly vivid. We've all been there at one time or another. I've learned the difference in 'lonely' and 'alone' though ... There are times when I may be lonely but I'm never 'alone'. Thank you, I enjoyed the read. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
