All men are dreamers- I think that is true. And all men are liars- I believe that one, too. I’ve only one question.. To ask you my, friend, Where does the dream stop, And the lying begin? They say that it’s normal To dream when you’re young It’s then that the love songs Are written and sung. And conquests are made By the strong and the bold The lying gets worse As a person grows old. Forever’s sternal,,, When a person is young The years fly so quickly Surprise strikes him dumb. They lie to themselves In their plans and their schemes But question their lies And they say they are dreams. But dreams are imparted From the One up above.. To smooth out the potholes On the pathway of love. To carry young lovers- Through perilous storms. They end in reality... This is the norm. But lies are product Which cause one to grieve Their only true purpose To hurt and deceive. Destoying lives When they’ve have their full end- Where does the dream stop, And the lying begin? A question we all need to ask ourselves. Wise words, here, Gunslinger! And, of course, very well written! ![]() Denise And slight is the sting of his trouble Whose winnings are less than his worth; For he who is honest is noble, Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~ |
