I just wanted to let you know I lost my older sister very unexpectedly on Jan 19th. She had come to Ellis Fischel Cancer center for tests, spent the night at my younger sisters', and just never woke up the next morning. Needless to say we were shocked> I still cannot believe she is gone and my mother just is not taking it well at all. Please hold her up in your prayers.

What a dreadful shock for your entire family. I'm so sorry. I pray your family gains strength and courage to endure and heal.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,

My thoughts are with you and your family.
At least she didn't (have to) suffer, but the shock of such a sudden death is just too great for those who are left behind.

My condolences to you and your family for such a sudden loss.  Sending prayers your way...  Although death seems like such a final thing, thank goodness the fond memories will remain cherished forever.  My thoughts are with you.

Paula, words cannot express how saddened I am by the news of you having lost your sister to cancer. I know how close that bond can be, as I have a sister who means a great deal to me.

My sympathy to you and your family, Paula. It is difficult to deal with a death of one so dear under any cumcircumstance, especially when unforeseen. May you find some peace in knowing she was spared much suffering.

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. It is still such a shock and om still isnt oing well. It just wiped her out and she just cant seem to go forward. It will take time I know but it hurts o see her hurt.
