Oh my...I almost missed this The date hasn't been set yet, but within the next 4 or 5 months. We are just having a small informal church wedding with his and my parents and brothers and sisters. His name is Rodger, for those of you who don't know. He's 35 and a structural engineer (I'm 37...I know, younger man, what can I say ?). We met (of all places...ha, ha) online, but his parents live only about two miles from me and he about 45 minutes away. We grew up in very similar families, have very similar beliefs and have the same quirky sense of humor at times....and he adores me (giggling, he's got to get a few points for that) As for the proposal...not exactly like the poem. He actually made up a song for me and sang out his proposal. Thank you all for your well wishes and congratulations. You are all like family to me |
