I read on fb that it was Hope Smith's Birthday today and wanted to wish her a happy birthday, when I realized that she had not posted anything for years, but her son Damian Smith had informed friends of her passing in 2011.

May dear Hope rest in peace. I always enjoyed her poetry. Of course I missed her too, but then there are many members who at some point decide to take a break, so I did not imagine she had gone Home.

Dear Hope deserves to be remembered by us in our special "Passions in Peace".

Dear Hope, it looks like no one comes in here anymore to read the posts in "Discussion", but I trust you have found in Heaven the many beautiful souls of Poets who have been part of this Poetry site when you too posted your beautiful poetry. We can imagine you all having gatherings UP THERE and having fun in remembering the good times on Earth.

I always enjoyed reading Hope's words. She seemed very sweet and kind. I would have liked to gotten to know her better.
