With solar arms' embrace about our world A frozen snow's transformed to diamond steads, And motley marching crocuses unfurled Through snowy blankets cov'ring vernal beds, A sunny heart within the tempest's eye ~ Lest scattered showers portend inclemence, A glorious sun-drenched rainbow spans the sky.  Well I am sure no poet,can't compete with Nan or Kit. I pull no rabbits from my hat, not magical one bit. Yet here we are terrific friends that travel many miles To share a hug, an accolade, and treasure all the smiles. I wish you Happy Birthday Ron; you're the best in all the land. Oh,and I think of you whenever I reach for an elastic band! When I look at that ball of elastics, in patriotic red, white and blue, On that day and every day, there are always thoughts of you. Happy Birthday my dear friend. Pssst, by the way: I still can't do it. I can bet there are not too many dyslexic magicians. Check it out! Thank you, everyone, I very much appreciate the well wishes. It's been a great week, with even the weather cooperating. (During the last fifty years, all of the worst winter storms in Michigan have fallen within a week of my birthday. I get blamed for everything!) Some friends at a local shop surprised me with a birthday cake. I asked them why they only put two candles on it, and they said they didn't want the candles to cost more than the cake.  |
