First: Mom's still doing rather ok and it looks like she will reach her 100 birthday after all, but as we say: don't skin the bear before you shoot it, so let's keep our fingers crossed. As you all know my mom's called Muys, which in Dutch means mouse (normally it's muis, but she wanted to distinguise herself from the little grey critter by putting a y in stead of a i in there), a nickname given by her father when she was little. Anyway, I came up with the idea of making a tribute booklet (100 x Muys) for her (and the family) in which I will gather a 100 mouses, either in drawings/photos/cuttings spiced with little notes and poems and photos of herself throughout the years. So I will ask you if you want to send me a mouse in whatever form by email. I don't want to put my email address openly in here, but you can contact me through my pip mailbox and I'll send it to you. Then I can make a chapter PiP friends in the book. Wouldn't that be fun? Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |
