Hey, everyone! Sorry I've been absent so long. I finally have a little bit of internet access on a computer, so I thought I'd drop in and update everyone. My girlfriend is going through chemo therapy. She had her first chemo treatment about 2 weeks ago, and it was hell on both of us. Mostly because of how sick it made her. This past Thursday, she had to have a port put into her chest so that they can continue the type of chemo she needs because they can't do it via IV due to the fact that one of the medications is a tissue degenerative. Her next chemo is on March 1st. So far, she hasn't lost her hair. We're happy about that. Meanwhile, I've found part-time employment, so we're starting to catch up financially. It's still going to be a bumpy road for a while, though. I miss being here at PiP and I especially miss my classmates in the Poetry Workshop, and the good Sir Balladeer. I wish I had something new to post as far as poetry goes, but I haven't been writing much lately. I'll check in again soon, I promise.

Rachael,

I am glad that there is a bit of positive as you and Tonya go through such a hard time together. My thoughts remain with you both. Hang in there and we'll stay in touch as we can.
