Karen if it makes you feel better we spare the turkey at our house! Happy Thanksgiving.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

No turkey?

WHAT A CONCEPT!!! I TOTALLY LOVE IT!

(Don't mind me, I'm into stage three cooking process--merlot, yanno )

But really, no offense to the poor tortured birds, but I've never really been that impressed by 'em...

And yet? "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." John Lennon (and he stole that from someone else)

gobble u up! munch-munch-mu--oh blech...just tilt the box, will ya?

OH.

And Helen (1slicklady) if you read this? Please call me back. I'm so sorry I missed your call. (We're nocturnal creatures here.)

I want you to come HOME, dammit.

New Orleans needs you. Gobble ya up!

"Gobble ya up"! To my surprise the instant translation is very eloquent!! haha ...

To feel less guilty for the turkeys we just might thank them for their sacrifice and they will be happy to make your day of Thanksgiving a great day and their transition day full of anticipation for the vastness of paradisiac meadows that expect them up there ...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Love and hugs.

I'm feeling just a little more stuffed than the bird now.  Had a delicious dinner at our daughter and son-in-law's.  Had a nice visit with their 2 daughter's, home from the University of IL. for the holiday.  Actually, they drove to NY Fri. night after school and returned in the wee hours Tues. AM. Oh, to be so young and vibrant again!

Hoping you all enjoyed the day in thankfulness, too.
