Hello Dear friends, Things have been so hetic in my life and I have little time for anything. As you know my mother-in-law has been dealing with stage 4 ovarian CA for 2 years now. She underwent 1 1/2 years of chemo and major, major surgery. 4 months ago she was declaired in remission. 3 weeks ago her CA 125 went from 11 to 222 and they did a CT scan and found a spot on her liver, her pancreas and one above her bladder and now she is starting chemo all over again. A year ago June my mother had major back surgery and got a MRSA infection down to the bone that required 2 more surgeries and 6 months of antibiotics to heal. This June 15th my mother and father were in a severe auto accident. My mother needed to be removed from the car with the jaws of life and they were both transfered to a trauma center. My dad, 82, fractured one leg and had a huge hematoma on the other. My mom, 75, fractured 3 ribs and 2 vertabre in her spine. Both were bruised from head to toe. They spent a week in the hospital, 2 weeks in a rehab hospital, 2 months in a nursing home for additional rehab and now are in a personal care home. My brother and I have been given the task of cleaning out their home which has been a unbelievable undertaking as they were hoarders and there were 3 rooms piled from floor to ceiling that you could not even step into. We have been working non-stop for the past 2 months there and are only abut 1/2 way done. Needless to say I've had little time for anything else...including writing. Please hold me and my family in your prayers as this has been a very stressful time in our lives and we are due just a bit of calm. I miss you all and think of you often. Ruth |

You are missed, dear Ruth, but you have had such burdens in your life I see. May things improve and may you quickly be able to find time for yourself again, as you deserve. I am just trying to eliminate the superfluous and your remarks about your parents' overfilled house is a further reason to go ahead and reduce things to the essential. What we cherish will almost certainly become a problem for our children, once we are gone ... God bless. Love, Margherita |

We miss you to, Ruth I know what you are going though as I have been in a similar situation myself. The only thing you can do is say to yourself "this to shall pass." and it will. Bless you for being there. Ida |

Ruth you have my prayers and I know what you are going through ( especially the cleaning out of a house when filled with years of memories and "stuff".) I have been helping my nephews since my brother-in-law passed in May, do the same for the last 4 months and we aren't even through more than 3 rooms. And dealt with my husband's accident over a year ago and his recuperation. Eventually it will settle down and it will remind "us" how little the "stuff" in our lives really meant compared to the importance of family and friends. M |

It saddens me to hear about all this terrible news, but good will come. With each rising day, I know, dear Ruth that goodness is just at your corner and everyone will be back in shape without problems, I just know it. and for that, I will pray lots for you tonight and any other night. ARCTIC WIND |

I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts Ruth. I know all about what you're up to cleaning out the house. Had to do that with my Aunt's house 5 years ago. Took me almost a year to finish. Love, Titia Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Ruth...time seems to rush by from one point of knowing to another, and in between so much dots the days, it's hard to fathom the current and waves. My best to you and your family now, as always. |
