Hey hey ya'll! I know I promised, or I at least said, that I would be working on a book. However, the plan for that has fallen through, but not for any horrid reason! I did a lot of research and decided to submit my work to various literary magazines, instead of publishing my book, first. In order to get a base that will allow me to submit my manuscript to publishing companies rather than self-publishing (which I love, but I'd like to try this, first!). Last night, I submitted my work to New Yorker magazine. In a response to one of my posts here, a member told me that it would be a good idea, and as lazy as I am, I went for it! It is a 3 month waiting period, because they receive so much work, but I'm really excited to see what happens! Thank you all for being so constructive toward my work, and I hope you're not upset about the book.  |
