Marge, I was so sorry to hear about your diagnosis.

I remembered a poem I wrote for you many years ago (boy, that was over 8 years ago Marge),
I wanted to bring it in here for you. I hope
someone will read this for you ... for me.

Her Gentle Spirit


On silent wings with eagle's sight,
She comes to me on wing'ed flight;
Profoundly, we are intertwined,
Of kindred spirit, through these lines.

Much more than words upon a page,
For rich and true, her heritage;
A wise and gentle spirit calls,
Beyond the realm of Passion's walls.

A tender nature, to behold,
As sweetly penned, her words unfold;
The essence of her soul instills,
The spirit 'neath her feathered quill.

To give in kind, the love she shares,
To touch another unaware;
Her light within, envelopes deep,
For what she sows, is that she reaps.

Compassion floats across the miles,
To grace another with a smile;
And back to her, these feelings flow,
With tender love, dear heart bestow.

And so my spirit rises high,
To drift toward your moonlit sky;
And settles there, by river's bank,
Beside you ... softly giving thanks.
