Please will everybody continue their prayers/healing thoughts fullblast for Kacy, especially that she and her family have a much better Christmas than they are expecting; but that it is still a very restful Christmas for Kacy as that is what she needs; and that after Christmas, she continues to go from strength to strength in every possible restful way. We all love you Kacy, and are with you in spirit, egging you on (restfully). - Owl |

Kacy, my friend... I always thought I knew what was important, but Hurricane Ike tested me mightily on that thinking... I found myself sobbing my heart out over "things"... and yearning for a security that seemed always just one step out of reach. I found that one of life's toughest assignments is to "accept the things we cannot change" without substituting acceptance with giving up. Oddly enough, amidst all the loss, I gained something I consider valuable... a sense of contentment. I'm immensely grateful to be here, glad to have survived... but with that is an awareness that not one of us are guaranteed tomorrow, no matter how good things may seem for us today. I'd always looked ahead and I still do and I still harbor regrets for the past... but it's today that matters. I know you reached this point long before me... I hope you know how much YOU matter... how much you bless us every time we read your words. I wish so much that you could be given the return of good health... I pray each day that will happen. But I also pray that both you and your family are given the strength, grace and peaceful hearts to face whatever your tomorrows might bring. And I pray that this is your best Christmas ever... where gifts under a tree aren't what people notice when they walk in... they notice a home glowing with love and hope. |

This thread brings great warmth to me on this frigidly cold windy day. I cannot go outside on such days, and must settle for looking out the window. But when I venture into these blue pages, I find such giving and kindness I suddenly feel a warm breeze. Dear Suthern, thank you for all your thoughts. Yes, 'things' fall to the wayside pretty quickly when you are handed a downsizing pink slip, so-to-speak. The days that remain must be focused on positive affirmations and thoughts. In so many ways, I am blessed. To have my daughter here with me is comforting beyond words. We have been given this gift of time to share. Some are not so lucky, for millions pass beyond the the veil of life without having this opportunity to reflect and share thoughts with loved ones. ~Wishing each of you a warm and loving holiday season.~ |

Today, dear Kacy, I pronounced your name in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, in a prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes, Whose statue is placed for three days inside the Basilica. I thanked Her for accompanying you on your path towards healing. I felt flooded with energy in those moments and I sent it out to embrace and permeate you too. May this special time of the year be a time of awareness of being loved very deeply and of being always cared for by the Divine Creator and the Universal healing energies.
