Flicka, my beloved horse, feels such a part of Pip - as so many of you know and love him - , even though he has been in Heaven for 6½ years - so I am sure nobody will mind if I announce that it is his birthday today. He would have been 44 today. - Owl |

In Angel Numerology, 44 represents the angels! ~ How fitting for our Flicka turning 44! I know he wouldn't mind that I missed the anniversary of the day of his birth, for in heaven there are no clocks, so to speak! Happy Birthday in Heaven for dear Flicka! I do not doubt that it was a great celebration as Flicka has so many friends up there and I trust also my cat King Mizar I enjoyed the party. Oh, Margherita, what a beautiful picture! Thank you so much. The horse and the cat are beautiful. It is so typical of Flicka as he loved/loves cats so much. In fact one of his best friends was Honey Cat, one of the cats at the stables who often used to walk with Flicka and me in the last 10 years of his life when I had retired him and walked him every day from the ground. I know that your darling King Mizar I must be one of Flicka's best friends and will have enjoyed the party with him immensely. Flicka enjoyed your hugs! Thank you so much for loving Flicka. Thank you Yann for enjoying my sharing the memory of my darling Flicka and for the wonderful things you said about him and for birthday wishes for him. I wish you had known Flicka too. You would have loved him and he would have loved you. Everybody loved Flicka - people who didn't know horses, people who didn't like horses, people who were afraid of them - he just drew everybody to him - and he loved everybody back - and all animals, especially dogs and cats. Thank you Ruth, for your lovely message. Smiles. Yes, Flicka will have had a very happy birthday romping in the Heavenly fields with his friends. He also will feel honoured to share a birthday with YOU! Flicka will have met ALL of your cats, except of course Kate and Colin (and I hope it will be a very long time before they go to Heaven) and they will be great friends - he doesn't just "like" cats. He loves them and they love him back. - Owl |
