Hi all...
I posted this info on Karen's thread, but thought
I'd post it here too, to make sure everyone sees it...

I just received a phone call from Karen's sister, Twist...
Karen had asked her to call and have me pass on the
good news that Karen made it through the surgery just fine...
Everything went well and Karen is resting.

We weren't able to talk for long, so I
don't have any more details at this point...

but once again?...
thanks to the love and support of all of you who have
kept vigil, the power of the prayer circle is realized...

Thank you, Karen, and Twist, for getting word to us...
ya know I love ya both, my sistas...

of power the world will know peace."

Now all of the Serene One's family and friends can breathe a bit easier now! ~ and when she's fully recovered emotionally and physically, we will all breathe a lot easier! I suppose we'll have to wait a bit longer regarding her mental status! lol

Love and healing hugs to Karen ~ and keep some for yourself, as well, Miss Vickie!

Karen sits gingerly at the keyboard.

Hey folks--I've just been checking out the renovation, and y'know that old question regarding matching drapes and curtains? I say, who cares about matching shades when you've recently refurbished the original knotty pine flooring--it's eclectic bay-bay!

"Owwwwwwwwwwww"....I hurted myself wif that one!

it better.

Oh, wow-ow-ow. *chuckle* I go waddle some more before I get stuck here--'cause I want ya'll to know that having the position of the computer desk chair surgically removed from your muscular- skeletal system is a tad painful.

Prayers for Florida, too!

*waddle- waddle* wonk "oooops"!

Thank you, Doctor, for leaving Karen's humor unaffected.

Good to see you posting.
I'm too closely relating to the, "ow-ow waddle" movements these days since hurting my back 2 weeks ago.  I'll think of you each time I yell, Karen.

Love and healing to you.

Oh, Karen!  I didn't realise it was the 15th and I missed sending you a message!  I am so sorry.  However, I am so very relieved that all went well. Now, don't you overdo the waddling, and DO rest, rest, rest and rest some more!  When you feel the need to exercise, rather just exercise your sense of humour and your brain.

Sheesh!  there's your problem right away.  They had you in post op and they removed a lounge chair. I'd want my money back.  Post op...  Why do these things always have to happen to Serenity?  She starts out for a perfectly normal day, and they  end up removing a post for no good reason.. . .

Didn't you have some sort of GYN problem they were going to address?. . .

      What were these people thinking?

Do they still have doctors in New Orleans, anyway?  Don't they have Offices for these sorts of things?  Mumble, mumble, Republicans. . . post. . . mumble mumble Offices.

Why do these things have to happen to Serenity?  Get well quickly, Ms. Serenity.  I need to retire to my bathroom and try to figure this mystery out.  Mumble mumble Offices...Doctors... Lounge Chairs...

Love, Bob K.

I thought I'd share some good news for a change. The doc got my lab results back, and they did not find any cancerous tissue.

There. (Don't ya love how they always qualify that?)

But..whew!

Thanks you all very much for your loving generosity. This year so far has been...unreal.

I'm just hoping it doesn't get too surreal.

I'm gonna go lay down and read my menopause manual.

ciao for now! Lovin' hugs to all!

thank you

Ciao cara!

I am so happy that the results were so totally tranquilizing.

the menopause manual?!! the less you acknowledge it the less it will bother you ... you'll have to take some friendly hormones surely. Freedom of certain inconveniences is a good thing after all.

Always focussing on the positive side of everything ...

Your spirit and acumen will keep you fit.

Love and hugs.
