WOW, that is awesome...and a bit scary.
What if it had gone differently, or if in the hugging stage someone accidentally got hurt?
But those who say animals don't remember are definitely wrong!

From the looks on their faces, I have to assume the lion was also making welcoming sounds...because he certainly wasn't charging them, nor was he sneaking up on them as if they were strangers...

and yes, Susan...hanky alert for sure!
