Hey Pete...so you're a Centurian?  Happy Birthday to the State of Oklahoma...we're so glad you finally decided to join the ranks...You know, Pete, that we are celebrating my mother's-in-law 99th birthday this coming Sunday. I will have to tell her that she is only one year younger than the birth of your state. She will probably tell me, "I know that!" The people that will be visiting her are anywhere from 10 to 90 years younger than her. I find that simply amazing. It's an honor to be in her presence. It's even better that we get to communicate with her, and hear her stories. There's a lot to be said about a sound mind in a body of age. Congrats, Pete. It is a very good thing to welcome and celebrate Oklahoma's 100th birthday! |
