I understand the av option is not enabled until you have made 50 posts.

50 posts would be correct. Once it is uploaded after your 50th post, an administrator checks it against our guidelines, and most often, approves it.

Click on the Member's area/Help in the upper left hand part of the page and you will be taken to an area that explains all major functions of PIP and tuttorials of how to navigate through the site, along with FAQ. If you have problems after that, we will be happy to answer them.
