 I just wanted to wish everyone the happiest Chinese New Year, as the Year of the Pig begins tomorrow (more specifically, the Year of the Fire Pig, which these two clashing elements may mean there will be some social unrest continuing worldwide through the next year, although it is also a year of optimism and fortune and in the unrest and struggles in some countries there may also be opportunity on the horizon.) I was born in the Year of the Water Pig (1983), otherwise known as a "Pig in the Forest", making me a particular shy and solitary pig that copes with great adversity in earlier life but enjoys great happiness later in life through altruistic acts for others, thus may explain why I can get oversensitive and very emotional so often.
