I received this heatwarming link from Maggie, our resident poet, Flutterwings in my email this morning and wanted to share it with you. I have followed her Grandson Shiloh's journey now for all of his 8 years, of which 7 have been spent in a coma. This family has always been my inspiration, and should inspire anyone in what faith, hope, and love are all about, not only this time of year, but every day.

Thank you for placing this here ... after receiving dear Maggie's link in an email from her ... I also went to read this piece~

Having followed dear little angelic Shiloh for all these years ... I am always moved to tears with the loving thoughts his grandma pens~

This needs a definite *tissue alert* ... for it is real ... and it is so poignantly moving ... it will touch your hearts, causing you to not only offer another prayer for Shiloh ... but to hit yours knees in gratitude for what you have~

Sign the guestbook ... Maggie also passes the messages on to Shiloh's mom and other family members~

Looks like almost 2,500 guests have signed her book. That's a lot of love. And that family is truly amazing.

Thank you. Every year I pray this will be the year Sunny gets her little boy's arms around her, and Maggie hears the laughter of her grandson.

I know Shiloh's journey has been a beacon of light for me to make sure that I live a life of gratitude, love, and sharing. I am sure that this tiny young man has inspired so many to become the best they can possibly be. He is truly loved and prayed for by so many.

Thanks, Sharon. Seeing him lie there day after day, wondering what transpires in his little mind, how and why God is using him and for how long, has to be a tremendous burden. Indeed, it's an inspiration to each of us.

I ask our Lord to strengthen and have mercy on them.
