I am happy to say that I am being promoted to SFC/E7 today for the U.S. Army. I have enjoyed this site and it has helped me through many rough times. Thanks to all, and God Bless. |

Congratulations on your promotion! Forgive this Canadian's ignorance, but what does SFC/E7 stand for? ~ and why must this promotion preclude you from continuing to be part of our poetic family? Congratulations, indeed. Many non-military people may not realize the significance of reaching the seventh rung on a ladder that goes no higher than nine (and E9 is tantamount to walking on water). It's an accomplishment few reach and one in which you can take pride. Army Ranks Explained  |
