As I watched the launch Marge, I thought,
how proud Americans must be feeling at that moment.
The first shuttle launch ever on July 4th.
I'm Canadian, but it didn't matter,
it gave me goosebumps and misty eyes to watch the lift-off.
I pray these seven astronauts have a safe mission
and return home with even more exciting discoveries about our solar system.

Have a fantastic Fourth everyone!!
And, may God Bless America!

Hey Marge I watched the same thing from my back yard but I had too many trees in the way.I saw it in between the leaves and branches. I should have gone across the street.. LOL Thanks for this. You are the greatest.

Oh that's great Marge, very historical photo's they will become..uh already are.

I didn't see anything in my back- or frontyard LOL, only heat. It's over 91 degrees here (Fahrenheit that is) and I can't stand it.

I'm off coming Thursday to the North, inspecting sheep again and I really pray the temperature will drop by then.

If only this heat could melt that bit of too much fat around my belly, but that's wishfull thinking

Love you Marge

Thanks for sharing your pics of this event, Marge.  When I watched the news last night it sounded like they weren't going to launch today.  I'm glad they were able to and I pray for a safe mission for all.

  God bless

Good thing it finally got off! One more delay and they would have had to rename it a FEMA project!!!
