My daughter Sara has several of her equestrian photos that are now featured in a 2006 dressage calendar. She has worked very hard this year six days/week feeding and caring for an average of 30 horses, including grooming, helping to train, and learning a classical approach to horsemanship.
Think Spanish Riding School, and the famous white Lipizzaners, and you'll understand what my daughter is all about.
Hope you enjoy these calendar photo links! All of the photos except the ones for the month of July were taken by my daughter, Sara Stafford.

(does happy dance) Yay! (angel friendship hugs) Oh Kacy, we're all sooooooooo proud of your daughter and her wonderful achievements. 30 horses, really? She must have been caring for all kinds of horses of all kinds of different colors, yay! LOL!

I LOVE those pictures on the first link! The pictures on the second link aren't coming up on my monitor right now, but I know they're just as wonderful, yay!

Congratulations, dearest friend!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Wow! Give her a big hug for me.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Noah and Larry, thanks for visiting! I fixed that second link so it would take you directly to the main page of classical dressage, the Ritter's home page.
Enjoy! This particular page shows off Shama, who is such a sweetheart! The other horse in the pas de deux is Celeborn (his 'barn' name).http://www.classicaldressage.com/shama.html

Kacy....

How proud I am of you, AND Sara!  For your diligence in bringing up a daughter with such resolve as to follow a lineage...with a lineage!  You know what I mean...

You should both be proud...

I know I am!

I've seen these horses in the flesh...

she is one lucky and fortunate young woman!

Thank you! Sara is becoming such a good photographer! Her love of Equis makes it easy for her to spend hours running around in pastures, shows, and barns with her camera, and nearly as many at the PC putting prints together for a growing list of clients. SIGH, she is a treasure.

Wow Sara!  The pictures are 1st class all the way.  My cousin in Victoria loves horses, and still keeps a few, so I sent these links to her to look at.  She said you certainly show how to show the heart of any horse.  I am in awe of the intricate sense of detail you have in your photography, and hope this passion of yours will take you to a great place in your life, it sure should!

Kacy, this journey you have been on, has been worth every single second I can see that for sure!  Smile Mom, be proud, as this talented apple isn't falling to far from the tree!  Congratulations - beautiful calendar.  My favorite is Pluto III Canada, what a beauty and love his name too.

Donna, oddles of congratulations sent your way.  I've seen the white horses twice, and they are truly amazing.  If you've never seen them, it's a definate to do, even if you're not wildly crazy about horses.  One thing I've found incredible about them, is that they are born completely black, taking 10 years for them to turn white, and if they do not, they are found to be extremely rare.

While watching the History Channel, on the Knights of Templar...found out that they also taught they're horses to do battle...

Thank you so much to both you and Sarah, for this thread and the extremely incredible photos. Horses are truly amazing!
