(smiles) Awwwwwww, thanks, y'all! I chose Wednesday to begin the performances (for those thinking December 7th is a random day to start, LOL!) because that's the day after my last finals week day, and will have one new song for every day of the week up until Christmas Day, yay! Most of the songs will be the favorites you know and love, but there'll be a few surprises in there too, yay! I might just blare my formidable fruitcake falsetto full throttle when you least suspect it, hehehe! LOL! I also want to begin recording recitals of poetry up onto my blog too after the holiday season, especially fan favorites here at Passions like "Pisceans Sure Know How To Kiss", "Tourmaline", "Yay!", "Fast Company", "Dressed To Grill" and "City of Roses". I can even take requests on what poems to record and recite (no political or erotica, though, think of the children, LOL!) Yay, love y'all! Later today I'll have my cover of "Happy Christmas (War Is Over) up, which I agree with Nancy to be a most meaningful holiday song in that one popular notion of the holidays is to promote "Peace on Earth" and sadly we still see many facing the strife of war today and it's something we all need to open our eyes to and understand so as to hope to come together and finally declare an end to war and a beginning to peace. Yay! Ooohhhhh...is Bing Crosby in that movie by chance? I just love his version of "White Christmas". The God's truth is that I'll never have a fifth of his voice, but am nevertheless happy that my voice is my voice and a God-given voice is the best voice you can have. I just saw "Going My Way" again last weekend, actually. (smiles) It's one of my Top 5 Christmas-related movies of all-time. ("It's A Wonderful Life" is by far #1). It's just soooooooo heartwarming how all those boys become such an angelic choir, and that fellow who ran the church for 45 years in the movie is just such a likeable person who I wish I could just have a cuppa hot chocolate with!
