I have been wondering about Seymour Tabin and our other PIPsters in Florida. Anyone know how they have fared? Or, if you were in Wilma's path, please check in and let us know you're still standing, k? |

For those who remember our dear sweet Pepper, who lives in Ft Lauderdale, she is well and had no water come in her home, even though she lives on a canal. They had gone north for the hurricane. I haven't heard from Sy or Balladeer. They are all without electricity, so they can't use their computers. I hope they are well. |

Liz -- Deer posted on another thread that he is okay. Still have not heard from Sy. That's great news about Pepper. Thanks. |

A search on Sy shows his last post to be on the 23rd. He doesn't visit the discussion forums much as a rule, though. Also, if Mike is without electricity, no doubt Sy is as well. They live only a short distance from each other... |

Thank you, Nan. I had searched myself for that post and I think he was sitting there typing in the middle of the storm....I do. One of the last posts was mine to his poem where I was telling him to be safe and he responded he would. I feel better now knowing he is close to Deer.  .....jo |

One thing you are forgetting or maybe don't know? He has Isabel! Yup, that wife of his is sure not going to let anything happen to the love of her life trust me, she'd arm wrestle that storm down for her Sy guy  No electricity is the reason for his being gone I am sure of it  for the concern for him as he is a real dear and missed when he is gone by so many. |

Sy wrote before the storm and said he knew they would lose power and would make contact once back on-line...last time it was several days before they had electricity.. Also, if it did not get cancelled due to Wilma, he and Issy had a cruise reservation...so IF they got to go, it may be awhile before we find him back in the forums. Im sure Deer or Sy will give us an update once they can. |

Sy? And his precious Isabel... are on a CRUISE! AND...I see in notes elsewhere that Ft. Lauderdale will be without power for a few days... without phones for a few days.... without gas, ice, etc.... but they are all tough as alligators, they are... and will come through this mess, once again! |
