Go about finding my best friend from over 10 years ago?

I know his first and last name, I just can't FIND HIM!

I'd love it if I could send him a letter or an e-mail..I wonder if he'd remember me...

have you tried simply entering his name into a search on Google or some other search site? My mom, at random, enters the names of various people (including herself, with some interesting results) and happened to find her brother, whom everyone in her family thought had been dead for close to thirty years. they've been in communication for a little while now and I imagine will meet up in the not-too-distant future.
