My Bill will undergo surgery on Tuesday, September 27 ... please help me lift him in prayer~
We KNOW the power of prayer~

I've place a piece in Spiritual Journeys, if you'd care to leave a prayerful comment for him there~

Perhaps you should ask the surgeon to join you in prayer before surgery. Know I'll be with you in prayer.

Bill reported for surgery this morning, all hooked up and ready to go, when the anesthesiologist felt that he didn't want to chance putting Bill under anesthesia without some further heart testing~

*sigh* ... thank God for a man in the medical profession that takes the time to read the charts before him~
He felt that it was too risky to put Bill under until some more tests are completed~

God stepped in and we feel blessed ... I will post an update when we know more about the results from the cardiologist and if and when rescheduling takes place~

Bill and I thank you all for the fervent prayer vigil ... and know you will keep him lifted as the future medical procedure presents itself~

Thanks for letting us know. I've had my "wings" crossed ever since I heard the news of his scheduled surgery.

I'll keep them crossed until all the tests and possible surgery are behind him! Having you by his side must feel like a godsend to Bill! ~ and that is because you are!

So glad that man took his time to read the charts too. It makes a difference. Just pray he is the man they will use when Bill is rescheduled. Prayers joining the others. martyjo

My prayers are continuous for Bill and I'm so relieved to hear that the anaethesiologist read Bill's medical history etc! God is certainly vigilant!

Wanting you ALL to know that Bill and I thank you so sincerely for the blessing of having you as friends~

The prayers have lifted our spirits and we will wait to see what the future holds~

We are grateful to God for the anesthesiologist ... somewhere along the line in preparation for this surgery, someone dropped the ball ... but, Dr. Vario caught it~

Bill's primary doctor had done a resting sonogram days before the surgery, also a 24 hour heart monitor and x-ray of the heart ... apparently there was/is a slight mitral valve blockage (but they didn't think that was reason enough to delay surgery on the growth on his larynx) ... HOWEVER, the anesthesiologist thought otherwise ... so on the side of caution he conferred with the surgeon and they both feel that a stress test is needed before they will consider putting him under for the throat surgery~

Actually ... I personally feel that someone dropped the ball on this prior to actually scheduling the surgery !!!!
He was cleared by the primary physician and also by the surgeon's office to proceed with the surgical procedure ... I am just grateful that the anesthesiologist saw it otherwise !!!!!!!

We now have to wait for a cardiologist to do the stress test and let us know what the next step will be~

*sigh* ... I feel that indeed the protective 'Wolf Spirit' howled loud enough to be heard ~

I will let everyone know ... when we know ... what the next step will be and when~

Right now I've nothing new to report ... as the wheels of the medical world seem to turn so slowly .... Bill will be scheduled to see a cardiologist this week ... then we'll know more~
