Ok, I need help finding out who this man, maybe in the 70's, had a hand puppet that he would sometimes put a blonde wig on and lipstick on his hand and speak to it, was his own hand and the puppet would say in response to his "It's alright?"

-----> "Eeees a'right"

I am not making this up, I used to watch it and must find out who it is.  Not Kookla, Fran and Ollie, or Lambchop or Mr Rogers, Sesame Street or Cap'n Kangaroo.  My mom knows who it is but cannot place the name and google has nothing.  Is driving me insane.

Thanks guys.

Sure it wasn't local?  If nothing else, you could make some very awkward cold calls to local networks, if'n you haven't moved from where you originally saw this critter.

By local, that's region or state.  My SO knows of a few shows like that which were specific to Arizona, that me, being Texan, had not the faintest idea about.

Did he have the line 'Let me introduce you to my leeeeeeetle friend.'?  This was prior to it being a movie line. *chuckle*

Yes indeed it was Senor Wences.
The little puppet he would draw on his hand
and add a wig to was known as Johnny.

The head in a box who would say.."Eeets Alright", was Pedro.

One of the finest ventriloquists of all time.

I loved that guy and stole his act actually many times.  To this day I still dress up my hand for the grandkids!  Funny how kids think you are terrific when you do hand puppets.  Sure it's a back to basics thing but it sure beats spending $100 on toys that breaks in a week, and they love it!

Suzie, tie a hankerchief on your hand, get out that red lipstick, a black felt pen, and get Billy giggles going.  All the trivia you ever wanted to know and more can be found at tv.com Sue.

This particular man was so special in our house, that if we kids were doing dishes? [yes, by hand...soap suds and all] we were allowed to come and sit and "watch" the magic!
