Just received this pitiful little note from our Denise~

Not good - Denise, m'friend - Take care of yourself and heal quickly. We need you around here... Be well, lady... and I can't help but recall when I broke my wrist as a teenager - I just COULDN'T do dishes for WEEKS!!...

I'm such a klutz, I'm always tripping over my own two feet, and sometimes I even break bones. The last time was 9 years ago with my right arm, now my left, same type of fall, same exact break (near the elbow).

Nan, it does have its advantages! The pain I could do without, though.

I will miss the 'back and forth' of debating things, though. It helps keeps me sharp.

Sharon, not necessary! cooking and cleaning was part of the pre-nup agreement...HE does it!

Thanks again everyone, and please keep me in your prayers. I'm not good with pain or medication or doctors.

Denise, I'm sure you don't remember my "Queen Klutz" poem...but like you, I'm top of the list when it comes to doing something like this - with the exception that I've never broken anything. What I do do is sprain things - usually both at the same time. Both wrists...both ankles...etc.

But what would the docs do without us, hey?

Denise: So sorry to hear about your accident and hope you heal well and quickly. Also hope the pain is of short duration. We will all miss you while you are off!

I'm like Sunshine, always spraining things, never broke a bone (yet).

I know, it's awfull when you can't type and I hope the pain will ease real soon my friend.

And when you're back to work, say hello to the Raven please? I've such good memories.

Thanks for the well-wishes, everyone! I am slowly but surely regaining range of motion in my arm and the pain is being managed well. And the doctor said typing is good therapy, so I'm now using both hands again! Another week or so and I should be almost back to normal.
