Besides paying for a small fraction of our server costs, the banners you see at the top of the screen also provide some fairly interesting information about our visitors. I thought I would share some of it with you. Yesterday, June 11, there were approximately 158,530 pages displayed in the forums. Because IP numbers cover geographical areas, the ad server is able to tell me what country those pages went to:
These aren't all the countries, of course, just the top 15 (where is Botswana?). Passions, like our shared love of poetry, is truly International! |

And I think that Great Britain is part of the UK but the UK is also made up of Wales, Northern Ireland and I think Scotland so that may account for the two spots. Elizabeth again I'm grabbing my hat and coat I'm leaving the cat a note Quick call me a ferry boat-getting out of town! |

WOW! I'm totally amazed! It just shows how small our brain is, and how much we or should I say I live in my own little world. It never expanded quite that far  That's really awesome. Hi peeps So, all you poor Americans are confused by what the difference between Great Britain and the UK is? Allow me to elaborate. *Donning teacher's cap* Great Britain is the main island, consisting of England, Scotland and Wales. <---Geographical grouping The United Kingdom is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. <---grouped by common government (although that's got a bit complicated now with all this devolution stuff LOL) Hope that helps Eric. |

Ron, Botswana is this small country to the North of South Africa; To the west of Mozanbique; To the East of Namibia; To the South of Zimbabwe. Ok? It's where I live(In the capital-Gaborone).
