This Thursday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day in Canada and Veteran's Day in the United States of America. My son sent me a video to watch, and I was so moved by it that I had to find the internet site where it came from in order to share it with you. This song and video is done by Terry Kelly of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in Canada, is called, "A Pittance Of Time." I's like to present it here to honor all our war veterans who gave so much for all of us, and still do. Thank you and God bless you all. May all your loved ones come home safe and sound. http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/chief_land_staff/remembrance/English/Home.asp p.s. I really had wanted Ron to see this as I know he doesn't open any attachments. |

Wow! It appears after sending the video out to some of you in email so you wouldn't miss it, the file is too big for a lot of mail servers. Again ... I am so sorry about that I keep forgetting about memory etc., and made myself a stickup note to stop it! I think I actually shut down Cape Cod today didn't I Nan? |

Mysteria: Even without the video, all my family will be remembering the veterans of all wars! Too many of them have touched our lives, to ever forget! Thanks for the reminder. Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |

mourning rises over the Douai plain a mother stands where sons were felled at Vimy Ridge the trenches remain stretched across the field as empty veins *a small tribute to the Canadian battle and memorial of Vimy Ridge. and very important thanks to John Babcock, Lloyd Clemett, Lazare Gionet, Clare Laking, Paul Metivier, William (Duke) Proctor, Alice Strike, Dwight Wilson, Canada's last surviving WWI veterans. and of course a thanks to my american neighbours and all allied veteran's across the globe who fought to protect all we too often take for granted. |
